ShahRukh is Twenty-Five Years Old now..

One of the men who ruled over the hearts of a number of girls for over a generation has recently turned twenty-five. Yes, it is the King Khan of Bollywood I am talking about. You don’t need to get surprised as even I know ShahRukh has crossed fifty-one of his age since I am talking about the time period he has completed in the Bollywood.

ShahRukh Khan started his career in Hindi movies as an actor in 1992 film Deewana. In that film he was cast against charming Divya Bharti in a love triangle. I still remember the bike riding style of King Khan in the song of this film “koi na koi chahiye pyar karne wala”. Almost all of us can visualize him playing on mandolin in a super romantic way that he did in DDLJ. Shahrukh clinched the title of lover boy with his romantic hits. While the continuous big hits in Bollywood made him the King Khan on Industry. He also lived unforgettable roles in Darr, Baazigar and Anjam while playing negative characters. ShahRukh won the heart of even critics when he played strong roles in Devdas, Swades and Chak De India.

Well, Shahrukh's role in recent movies like Chennai express, happy new year, Dilwale and Fan proved that he is still the King of Bollywood. He is the real Raees as he has a huge fan following in India as well as abroad and is one of the highest paid actors in Industry.

ShahRukh’s talent has been awarded by not just Filmfare but also with Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of our country. He has also been honored by Order des Art et des Letters and Legion de honor by the French government for the highest merits he possess.

The Actor, Producer and television personality, Badshah Khan of Indian Film industry has been winning our hearts since 25 years now and I am sure he will continue doing so as the promos of his upcoming “Jab harry met Sejal” have clinched remarkable likes after getting released recently.

Dear King Khan, your relation with Bollywood can be named as a Rab ne Banayi Jodi. Congratulations for your heart winning twenty five years.. From we, the Fan of yours.

  2. Haha... So i also got confused with the title. But 25 years of being in Bollywood! WOW! I do love his confidence. Might seem snobbish but he doesn't fake who he is - take it or leave it. And I really like that!

A few questions to Halloween party people of India

Ugly pumpkins, ridiculous costumes and over-the-top makeup, trick or treating for kids and scary themed parties for the adults, the story of Halloween runs deeply in the Western culture. And these days I have been observing a flood of Halloween posts in my social media accounts . "10 ideas to celebrate Halloween with your kids..", "10 craft projects for Halloween..", "10 things to do at Halloween night.." There are parties happening for Halloween. Costumes are getting sold. Myriads of contests are posting spooky pictures and asking to share even more ghostly pictures. And amidst all this, I am puzzled, baffled and tickled.

I don't know if this is the notion of globalization or a modest thought to adopt cultures regardless of the geographical borders. Howbeit, I am sure about one thing that I hate the idea of kids celebrating Halloween here in India.

I have a few questions in my mind that I humbly want to ask those Halloween party people:

#MyFriendAlexa - Is Your Blog For Everyone?

A Bit of Introduction

Two months back, I joined a new company as a software project manager. And with this, I also shifted to a new city. I could not write much during this shifting time, as there were many other things that needed my attention on priority. With a new job, new city and a new house, I faced challenges of finding a new school for my kid, a new market where I can buy staple items and a new setup for my family which was in habit of living a comfortable life in Delhi. #MyFriendAlexa I took as an opportunity to proffer life back to my blog which was the most neglected entity of my world during this movement and adjustment span. My target is to write 8 posts for #MyFriendAlexa campaign in which 4 will make you a bit more compassionate person, and remaining 4 will make you more informed.
